About The Position

This role is responsible for the accurate verification and processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The individual will compare identifying information, counts, weights, and measures items against packing lists and purchase order requirements. They will determine the appropriate shipping methods and modes according to customer requirements and routing guides, and ensure correct labeling. The position involves assembling and packing product containers, preparing and affixing shipping labels, and accurately preparing all necessary shipping documents. Additionally, the role includes preparing receiving documents, putting incoming inventory away in the correct locations based on Epicor system data, and performing cycle counts. The ability to understand and utilize various computer systems and customer portals is essential.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows navigation, including Microsoft Office suite.
Basic Math skills.
Knowledge of MII Computer Systems for Inventory.
Ability to do Cycle Counting.
Ability to read and understand Hard Cards.
Inventory control and flow.
Knowledge of Docuware.
Ability to read and understand MII booklet.
Basic knowledge of customer portals.
Ability to use all web-based shipping methods.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months to 1 year warehouse experience.

Nice To Haves

Ability to become certified to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

Verifies information on forms and paperwork of incoming and outgoing shipments per PO requirements.
Compares identifying information, counts, weights, and/or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to packing list and PO requirements.
Determines method and mode of shipment to customer requirements in portals or customer routing guide.
Determines labeling requirements per PO requirements.
Assembles and packs product containers, prepares and affixes shipping labels on cartons identifying information for cartons, skid or other storage devices in an accurate manner.
Prepares all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepares all receiving documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to understand and put Incoming inventory away in proper location based on Epicor locations.
Ability to do Cycle Counting.
Ability to mark raw materials as needed.
