About The Position

This role is responsible for all shipping and receiving duties. Excellent attendance, proven success in a fast-paced environment, ability to work with various teams, organizational skills, and attention to detail are crucial. The position requires supporting and/or leading safety initiatives, performing safety audits and training, and participating in safety meetings. Responsibilities also include assisting with physical inventory counts, cycle counting, summarizing inventory transaction data, developing procedures for set-up processes, assisting the Shipping Lead, performing data entry, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• FORKLIFT LICENSE.
• Ability to travel back and forth from Main building to Shipping building.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions in English.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.
• Reliability, good initiative, commitment, and quality focus.
• Excellent attendance.
• Proven record of success in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years’ experience in driving a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead safety initiatives for the department.
• Perform safety audits and training.
• Participate in safety kick-off meetings.
• Assist operations in directing and implementing physical inventory counts of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
• Assist in cycle counting and develop and analyze cycle count data to find root causes and implement process/transaction/audits to improve accuracy and eliminate errors.
• Summarize inventory transaction data for evaluation.
• Develop procedures for the set-up process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist the Shipping Lead.
• Assist data entry clerical activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work outside in inclement weather when sealing trucks.
