About The Position

Essity is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safe and accurate handling of raw materials and finished goods, warehouse and production logistics, outbound load preparation, documentation, and operation of material-handling equipment. The position works rotating 8-hour southern swing shifts. Overtime pay applies after 8 hours daily, with double time on Sundays.

Requirements

• HSED or diploma required.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated safe forklift operating experience using pallet fork and clamp functions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous machine operator experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Essity safety standards and take responsibility for the safety of others.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods, visually checking for damage, quantity, and description.
• Block damaged raw materials or materials that deviate in quantity or description.
• Prepare raw materials and finished goods for production lines.
• Remove production waste and return blocked raw materials and finished goods.
• Organize and prepare outbound loads.
• Store and allocate raw materials, returns, blocked materials, waste, finished goods, and recycled materials using the correct location codes.
• Complete required documentation and data files for unloading, storage, removal, and cycle counts.
• Operate and maintain forklifts and other logistic handling equipment.
• Learn to operate and troubleshoot automated gantry, storage, unitizer, and palletizer equipment.
• Maintain optimal housekeeping in the warehouse and waste baler area.
