About The Position

New England Sheets is hiring 2nd shift Forklift Operators at its Devens, Massachusetts facility. The role uses a powered forklift to handle corrugated material, load and unload goods and scrap, inspect and report forklift defects, and store and load units correctly for future customer deliveries. The position offers a starting rate of $22.00 per hour plus a $1.25-per-hour shift differential. Employees are expected to contribute to a safety-first, quality-focused, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of forklift experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Successful track record in safety, attendance, and quality.
• Ability to function as a mature professional and interact positively with teammates.
• Willingness to work effectively in a team environment and tackle tasks needed for the success of the team.
• Enthusiasm for being an active part of a safety-first work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use a powered forklift to handle corrugated material.
• Load and unload goods and scrap.
