Shipping/Receiving Dock Team Member - Madison, AL
About The Position
The Shipping/Receiving Dock Team Member is responsible for interacting with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting, providing outstanding service. This role involves receiving newly donated items, sorting and shipping recyclable items to support environmental sustainability, and unloading trailers safely and efficiently. The team member will also be expected to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wet weather. The dock team works together to care for donated items and provide excellent treasures for customers, whether shipping items to the sales floor or separating recyclable materials. This role combines a passion for customers and community service.

Responsibilities
- Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors
- Receive newly donated items from our Donations team
- Sort and ship recyclable items
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
- Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner
