About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the Shipping Clerk for all daily outgoing shipments. This includes, but is not limited to, boxing shipments, processing internal documents, customs forms, external documents and coordinating with transport companies. This is a part time position.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous manufacturing shipping experience required
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Current forklift permit or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

Boxes, wraps and ships products
Prepares customs forms
Prepares freight bills
Keeps back room organized and clean
Keeps hall in front of shipping room clean
Keeps outside doors locked to prevent unauthorized visitors from entering the plant
Operates forklift
Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management
Cross-train in other logistics areas including receiving, stocking, warehouse, cycle counts, physical inventory, and shop errands.
Other duties may be assigned by management.
Frequent use and knowledge in JD Edwards (JDE) and Precision primarily, but other programs may be necessary as well.
