This role is crucial for maintaining and sustaining production lines and the warehouse, with reporting responsibilities to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write and follow written and/or visual aids.
Ability to use simple math.
A valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Operate hand truck to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Apply shrink wrap or banding as necessary.
Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.
Responsible for keeping adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
Complete any additional duties as deemed necessary by management.
