About The Position

The Shipping Receiving Clerk ensures valves and other products are delivered to the proper locations. The role receives and stores inventory, prepares items for shipment, delivers items to customers, handles valves for stock and repair, and installs RFID and barcode tags on valves in plants. The position uses a forklift and a company-provided vehicle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or four to six years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Self-starter.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receive boxes from trucking companies, place inventory in stock, pull items for shipment, and package items.
• Manage inventory by keeping items in their proper locations and conducting regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Receive valves for stock, pre-test valves in a mobile trailer, and ship valves to Calvert City for repair.
• Deliver items to customers using a company-provided vehicle.
• Pick up valves from customers using a company-provided vehicle.
• Install radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags and barcode tags on valves installed in plants.
• Use a forklift to perform job duties.
