Requirements

  • Creates bill of ladings for shipment of material.
  • Creates receivers for incoming material and enters into appropriate computer system.
  • Prepares material identification tags as needed.
  • Identifies inventory shortages and pulls work orders to replenish necessary stock.

Nice To Haves

  • Serve as backup for the Shipping Supervisor during absences.
  • Monitor and maintain shipping supplies (crates, pallets, boxes, etc.).
  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule daily outbound shipments.
  • Prepare all required shipping documentation, including BOLs, labels, and certificates.
  • Receive incoming orders in the ERP system and ensure MTRs and supporting documents are properly uploaded.
  • Enter chemical composition data from MTRs during receiving.
  • Stage incoming materials for inspection and coordinate with QC to confirm approval for stocking.
  • Provide shipment status updates to internal teams.
  • Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipments with local vendors.
  • Document and verify outgoing heat/lot information for traceability.
  • Stock, organize, and label incoming materials to maintain FIFO and inventory accuracy.
  • Work with the inventory team daily to ensure correct allocations and material availability.
  • Create labels for incoming shipments and ensure proper identification.
  • Communicate with Purchasing regarding vendor shipments, delays, and discrepancies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Maintain and update SOPs related to shipping, receiving, and material handling processes.
