About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Technician will assist in receiving, storing, pulling and loading of orders while maintaining accurate records. This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Ability to operate a personal computer
• Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, 'can do' attitude

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Six months or more of shipping and receiving

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders based on pick lists
• Load and unload delivery truck by hand or by use of a forklift
• Verify accuracy of incoming products
• Record information into the computer system to create accurate records
• Preserve finished products and package for inventory storage
• Assist in kitting and/or assembly of component packages or assemblies
