About The Position

Lithia Ford of Idaho Falls is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk with Detailing duties. This role involves managing parts deliveries and pickups, maintaining inventory, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for customers. Requirements

1 year of previous experience receiving shipments, verify packing slips, stock inventory, and distribute parts to technicians.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and loading/unloading throughout the day.
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and a reliable work ethic
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Provide delivery updates, order status, and inventory information to technicians, service advisors, and vendors.
Coordinate daily parts deliveries and pickups with dealership staff and outside vendors.
Help with Physical Parts Inventory annually.
Immediately notify parts manager of damaged parts or shortages.
Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle and operate it safely in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety standards.
Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to maintain a high standard of appearance.
Wash and clean engines and engine compartments according to dealership standards.
Inspect vehicles for visible defects and restore the appearance of upholstery, carpets, painted surfaces, and engine areas.
Retrieve and stage customer vehicles for delivery, ensuring they are ready when service is complete.
Conduct final quality inspections, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and report safety, quality, or operational concerns to management.
