About The Position

Ad-Tech Industries, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the flow of incoming and outgoing products. This role is essential in ensuring accurate shipments, efficient material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This position is empowered to identify and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism with internal teams and external drivers
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs continuously
• Stand for extended periods throughout the day
• Use required PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and banders
• Transport finished goods from production to the shipping department
• Read and interpret packing lists, work orders, and product identification tags
• Ensure accuracy in order numbers, quantities, and shipment details
• Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
• Maintain organized documentation, including packing lists and shipping records
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and other assigned tasks
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use
