About The Position

As a Shipping/Receiving & Store Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and inventory management activities. You will be responsible for handling all shipping and receiving operations, managing warehouse inventory, and maintaining accurate records in our SAP system. This position is essential to supporting our operational excellence and contributing to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional client service. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure efficient material flow and support business expansion activities.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations
  • Strong knowledge of reception, shipping, and storage practices
  • Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
  • Proficiency with SAP system for inventory management and order processing
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Good physical condition to handle heavy parts and materials safely
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain regular attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with FedEx shipping systems and other carrier platforms
  • Experience with dangerous goods handling and transportation regulations for Canada
  • Knowledge of inventory management tools and best practices
  • Comfortable with computer technologies and learning new software systems
  • Experience supporting purchasing and procurement processes
  • Basic maintenance or facilities support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Process shipments through FedEx and other carriers, complete dangerous goods declarations for Canadian road transport when required, receive goods from carriers, and enter receipts into SAP
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner, manage inventory levels, and prepare orders for shipment to other sites
  • Organize inter-site transportation while minimizing trips, plan efficient delivery routes, and distribute parcels/mail to departments (excluding BPL or TA/CA)
  • Record all store entries and exits in SAP, monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items, manage inventory replenishment, and utilize inventory management tools
  • Complete mandatory training for dangerous goods shipments, maintain a clean and safe workspace, handle heavy parts with proper techniques, and follow all safety protocols
  • File and archive all shipping/receiving documents, process purchase orders in SAP, prepare orders for clients, and assist the maintenance team occasionally as needed
  • Maintain high service quality standards as evidenced by client feedback and support various business opportunities led by other team members
