The CFL family is led by a competent staff from 15 countries with diverse backgrounds and years of technical flooring expertise. CFL USA, LLC is currently seeking candidates to join our rapidly expanding team. We seek to hire a Shipping Clerk that will report to our Shipping Manager. The successful candidate will assist with order processing at the LVT facility in Adairsville, Georgia. The position has a strong connection to the main facility in China, thus excellent communications skills are required. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- At least 1 year of customer contact experience,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Email and phone etiquette
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional departments including but not limited to Sales, Administration, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Distribution and Field Sales Force
- Commitment to company values
- MSOffice proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience with exposure to SAP, or equivalent, is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtain and process product orders
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient inventory for shipments
- Check the status for open orders.
- Keep files of goods shipped by preparing regular shipping reports.
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
- Update the system after shipment
- Ensure that CFL HQ in China receives routine communication
- Resolve customer inquiries, including but not limited to: order status, product information, order processing, account status, sales programs, as well as product line knowledge
- Daily contact with cross functional team
