About The Position

Position Summary: Load and unload trailers effectively and efficiently. Essential Functions: This list is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary from time to time. Sort pick tickets and determine if they are full loads or LTL orders Load and unload Trailers with a forklift in a safe matter. Prepare a packing list and a bill of lading for each pick ticket. Write up a certificate of analysis on all bulk products. Receiving all materials such as bottles, cardboard, labels, chemicals, pails, etc. Write up an accurate receiving record on all goods. Write up hold tags on all damaged and returned goods and send notification to our SC hold list via email... Rotating pack stock and supplies. Company mail run to the downtown post office. Wash company truck as needed Ensure employees are up to date on any policy or procedure changes. Pick UPS orders and scan them to ship on a daily basis. Safe practices on forklifts at all times. Notify management and maintenance of anything needing repairs or replacement. Work with the Transportation Manager and Director of Supply Planning on doing accurate inventory counts. Maintain a clean work environment. Make deliveries to Bomgaars Warehouse or SC Visitor Center as needed.

Requirements

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and ERP software.
Data entry skills.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize.
Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals.
Must have forklift driving experience.
Discretion as there will likely be sensitive information and figures discussed.
Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize.
Able to work with cross-functional departments within the organization.
Good problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills.
Must have forklift driving skills and be able to pass written and driving tests
Ability to lift in excess of 80 plus pounds at a time.
Work in extreme cold and heat conditions.
Required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Close vision abilities are required.
