About The Position

Advanced Composites, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Shipping/Receiving Clerk. This role involves supporting the shipment and receipt of goods, maintaining inventory of shipping materials, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The position requires making pick-ups and deliveries, operating a forklift, and performing other related duties as assigned. This position is ITAR compliant and requires applicants to be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR regulations.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school education.
Some experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Must have organizational and time management skills and good attention to details.
Employee will need to be able to safely lift seventy pounds.
Must be a U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or granted temporary residence under specific U.S. laws).

Responsibilities

Maintains inventory of shipment materials and supplies.
Supports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplied to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Required to make pick-ups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials using a company van.
Operates forklift to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Empties dumpster in morning and at end of shift.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Performs all other related duties and assignments as requested.
