About The Position

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties. This role requires attention to detail in managing inventory, receiving parts, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The position involves working with various software, adhering to government specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Inventory software.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Evidence of “US person” is required under ITAR.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace.

  • Stockroom/warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts, identifies, and counts stock, verifying against shipping list and control records.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control.
  • Receives and counts incoming parts/material, checking for certification and required paperwork.
  • Examines stock and distributes materials in inventory.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise to be shipped.
  • Requisitions and stores materials to maintain stock.
  • Follows government specifications in packaging and routing.
  • Pulls and issues components for assembly routers.
  • Maintains accurate records of blank stock and components.
  • Stocks blank parts in preparation for future routers.
  • Stocks customer returns, verifying count and part number.
  • Takes physical inventory of finished goods.
  • Issues parts for finished goods assembly routers.
  • Checks correctness of inventory records.
  • Complies with company and governmental safety, environmental, and hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
  • Wears Personal Protective Equipment in specified areas.
  • Participates in the development and promotion of the HSE culture.
  • Respects and ensures respect for instructions and rules in health, safety, and the environment.
  • Corrects or reports any malfunction or risky situation in health, safety, and environmental protection.
  • Implements preventive actions to reduce environmental footprint and control health and safety risks.
  • Participates in analyses of risks and incidents, and HSE working groups.
  • Is familiar with the main health and safety risks and environmental impacts related to their scope of work.
  • Is familiar with the site's HSE policy and objectives.
  • Makes proposals for improving working conditions and limiting environmental impact.
