About The Position
AVGEN AEROSPACE, a leader in aircraft Accessory component repair and overhaul, is currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our warehouse and logistics operations. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented person, to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, safety, and efficiency are key.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize changing assignments
- Strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.

- Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or logistics setting
Responsibilities
- Managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records
- Processing documentation in the company's system
- Coordinating with external carriers and internal departments
- Inspecting items for damage or discrepancies
- Open receivers and work orders in the SMART145 System
- Take pictures of incoming parts, materials and units
- Appropriately labeling, packaging and storing supplies
- Getting outgoing shipments ready in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements
