GEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk III to join our team! The role's main schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm, but the incumbent should have flexibility to come in or stay late up to 2 hours based on business needs. Also, this position includes a rotational after hours on-call schedule for 1 week per month.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • 3+ years of related warehouse administrative work required
  • Previous experience on sit-down and standup forklift required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Stocks parts and supplies in proper locations after receiving and inspection
  • Prints Bills of Materials and places on proper outbound shipments
  • Delivers parts to rebuild and manufacturing areas
  • Able to learn and understand ERP system
  • Able to acquire Forklift certification
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Fulfills key job requirements of Shipping & Receiving I & II
  • Receives and visually inspects incoming material for defects
  • Completes pertinent shipping and/or receiving paperwork
  • Helps to train Shipping & Receiving level I and II employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned
