Shipping & Receiving Associate | 1st Shift
About The Position
RJ Schinner is hiring a full-time Shipping & Receiving Associate for its Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin location. The associate receives and transports products to appropriate locations, picks products, assembles orders, and prepares goods for shipment. The role is responsible for accurate receipt and shipment and appropriate handling of merchandise, and uses commonly applied concepts, practices, and procedures in the redistribution field. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday on first shift, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or until work is completed. The associate operates warehouse equipment, uses RF scanners, maintains shipping, receiving, and inventory records, and helps maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse. The role involves frequent lifting of up to 50–75 pounds, exposure to conditions such as heat, cold, noise, and dust, and working at heights of 25–30 feet.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience.
- At least 1 year of previous stand-up forklift experience and ability to follow all safety protocols.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50–75 pounds.
- Comfort with exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, cold, noise, and dust.
- Comfort working at heights of 25–30 feet.
Responsibilities
- Operate different types of forklifts, including stand-up forklifts and order pickers.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement.
- Receive, pick, and/or transport products throughout the warehouse according to company standards.
- Stack, palletize, tote, and/or store products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records through proper documentation.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols.
- Check powered equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
