About The Position

Openwork is hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This is primarily a shipping and receiving position, with forklift operation required as part of the job. Candidates should have 2+ years of shipping and receiving or warehouse logistics experience, customer service and computer skills, and sit-down forklift experience. This is an extremely fast-paced environment, so strong multitasking and organization are important.

Requirements

• 2+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse logistics, or related experience.
• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills.
• Experience with shipping paperwork and order documentation.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Availability for overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily shipping and receiving.
• Receive and process incoming and outgoing materials.
• Check orders, quantities, and shipping paperwork for accuracy.
• Enter and update information in computer systems.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and warehouse employees.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
• Stage and organize materials.
• Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
