About The Position

This hybrid role is responsible for supporting both aftersales parts fulfillment and general warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and production support. The position splits time between picking, assembling, packaging, and shipping service parts orders, processing returns (RMA), unloading inbound freight and prepping/loading outbound freight, updating receipts in ERP system, and supporting production by ensuring materials are staged and available. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented but also comfortable operating equipment and moving independently between tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience with small parcel shipping (UPS preferred).
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn forklift and material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills (order systems, shipping software).
  • Familiarity with industrial parts or mechanical components.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
  • High School diploma
  • 1–3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or fulfillment experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or ERP systems (preferred)
  • Experience with barcode scanners and inventory systems. (preferred)
  • Fork Truck Certified or ability to be trained and certified

Responsibilities

  • Pick, verify, and pack service parts orders accurately from inventory.
  • Perform light assembly or kitting of parts when required.
  • Package orders securely using appropriate materials based on size, weight, and fragility.
  • Process shipments using systems such as ShipWorks and ship via UPS or other carriers.
  • Ensure correct shipping methods, labeling, and documentation are applied.
  • Prioritize urgent orders (machine down, expedited, dealer requests).
  • Receive and inspect returned parts for condition and accuracy.
  • Verify returns against original orders and RMA documentation.
  • Record return details in systems such as Salesforce and ERP.
  • Determine proper disposition: Return to stock, Route for inspection/repair, Scrap or quarantine.
  • Repackage and restock approved inventory.
  • Communicate discrepancies or issues with customer service or warranty teams.
  • Receive inbound shipments from vendors and carriers.
  • Verify quantities and inspect for damage upon receipt while noting damage on BOL.
  • Unload trucks using forklift or pallet jack as needed.
  • Process outbound freight shipments (LTL and parcel), including palletizing and wrapping, preparing bills of lading (BOLs), and coordinating carrier pickups.
  • Stage outgoing shipments and ensure proper documentation is attached.
  • Keep production lines stocked with required parts and materials.
  • Transport materials between warehouse and production areas.
  • Stage kits, components, or assemblies for upcoming builds.
  • Respond to urgent production needs to prevent production downtime.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and clean work areas.
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and report low stock, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
  • Follow proper storage practices for parts and materials.
