Galpin Motors is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team at Galpin Volvo. Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Acceptable Driving Record
• Valid CA C Class Driver's License
• Authorization to work in the US
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs with assistance
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Shipping and Receiving experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional work ethic and high integrity
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently
• Strong problem solving and follow up skills

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damages promptly
• Accurately stock parts into inventory and ensure proper bin locations are maintained for efficient retrieval
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing parts orders for delivery, shipment, or internal distribution
• Process shipping and receiving transactions in inventory management systems with a high level of accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable
• Coordinate with parts counter staff, vendors, and delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate movement of parts
