Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to successfully complete forklift training.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn ERP systems.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and inspect materials for shipping or handling damage.
  • Verify packing lists, purchase orders, product numbers, batch numbers, and quantities for accuracy.
  • Process receipts in the ERP system by entering purchase order information and confirming received quantities.
  • Print and apply inventory labels to all accepted materials and finished goods.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to obtain approval before releasing materials into inventory.
  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations using established inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare, stage, and load outbound shipments according to Bills of Lading, packing lists, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions and warehouse records within the ERP system.
  • Forward receiving documentation, packing lists, and Bills of Lading to Accounting as required.
  • Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping dock.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
