About The Position

Etna Supply is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate (Heavy Materials) to join our M&E Fire Protection team. This role is perfect for someone who’s comfortable working with heavy materials, operating large equipment, and playing a key part in keeping our yard and logistics running smoothly. This is a first shift position from 7am to 4pm, and will require overtime from time to time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (Eclipse experience preferred).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to become certified to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of fire protection products and applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery.
• Load, unload, receive, and stock materials accurately.
• Bundle pipe and assemble orders to customer specifications.
• Verify shipments and inventory to help prevent errors.
• Label, scan, and complete receiving and shipping documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock adjustments.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Pull materials for production as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain reliable attendance.
