About The Position

The Shipping Picker/Packer is responsible for selecting, verifying, packing, labeling, and staging products for customer shipment. The role supports safe, accurate, and organized warehouse operations by ensuring materials are handled and prepared in accordance with work orders, customer requirements, approved procedures, and Team Wendy quality and shipping standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and follow work orders, part numbers, labels, packaging instructions, shipment requirements, and established procedures.
Basic math, computer, data-entry, and warehouse-system skills, with the ability to use barcode scanners and other standard shipping or inventory tools.
Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to perform the physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without a sponsorship for employment visa status (e.e. H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, order fulfillment, shipping, picking, packing, inventory, or related experience preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Experience with IFS or a comparable ERP or warehouse management system.
Experience working with lot-controlled, serialized, configuration-controlled, or regulated products.
Familiarity with packaging, labeling, palletizing, shipment preparation, and inventory traceability practices.
Experience using pallet jacks or other approved material-handling equipment and familiarity with 5S or lean workplace practices.

Responsibilities

Review work orders, shipment priorities, and order requirements to determine picking and packing needs.
Pick finished goods and other required materials from assigned warehouse locations and verify product identification, quantities, lot or serial information, and applicable order requirements.
Inspect picked material for visible damage, labeling concerns, shortages, or other discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
Pack products using approved packaging materials and methods to protect product condition and support safe transportation.
Prepare and verify required product, carton, pallet, and shipping labels or markings, and include applicable shipment documentation.
Complete required ERP, scanner, and warehouse transactions to maintain inventory traceability and accurate order status.
Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas and provide an organized handoff for final shipment processing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow required PPE, material-handling, and equipment-use procedures.
Coordinate with Shipping, Production, Inventory Control, Quality, Customer Service, Receiving, Purchasing, and other warehouse personnel to resolve order, material, or packaging issues.
