About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Order Picker to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. You will be responsible for receiving and processing pick tickets, locating products using RF devices, and retrieving items using various powered industrial vehicles. The job involves building and preparing pallets for shipment, ensuring orders are correctly wrapped and labeled, and maintaining equipment. Adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and maintaining a clean work area are essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Able to read and write in English
• Basic mathematic competency
• Able to lift up to 50-pound boxes frequently
• Good physical strength and stamina with the ability to stand/walk for majority of shift
• Lift truck experience preferred and must be lift driver certified or be able to pass certification test
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Must be able to work overtime when required

Nice To Haves

• Three to six months related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Locate products using hand-held RF devices
• Utilize multiple types of powered industrial vehicles to retrieve items quickly and efficiently according to pick ticket
• Build pallets with orders and position them in appropriate loading dock area
• Securely wrap orders and mark with identifying information per customer requirements
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor
• Adhere to safety policies and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Perform other duties as required
