Job Summary: We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Shipping Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing shipping and loading processes, managing a team, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; additional logistics, transportation, or supply chain education is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational performance.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Working knowledge of freight coordination, shipment scheduling, and warehouse operations.
Experience collaborating across departments to achieve operational goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business operating systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Coordinate shipment schedules with manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams to support delivery commitments.
Monitor workflow and staffing levels to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with plant leadership to prioritize shipments and align logistics activities with production schedules.
Work with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product movement.
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, transportation issues, and customer delivery concerns.
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Support inventory accuracy and material flow initiatives as needed.
