About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Material Handler. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm. The rate for this position is $22.71 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Valid state issued driver’s license required.
Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

Strong product knowledge.
Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.

Responsibilities

Responsible for unloading and loading raw material from trucks and/or other departments to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.
Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.
Operate forklifts.
Store, space, and deliver materials or products.
Stack pallets and arrange materials.
May be required to palletize and secure material as needed.
Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
Use the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers as needed or required.
Additional duties as assigned.
