About The Position

As a material handler / shipping associate you help make the 4imprint brand come alive by supplying the embroidery machines with raw product, which are turned into customers’ orders and help with shipping customers their high-quality embroidered items. Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Someone who can communicate effectively as well as work independently and as a team player.
  • A multi-tasker who is ready to act in any situation.
  • Organized and focused on the details that matter.
  • Someone who enjoys change and trying new things.
  • Fluent with computers, and able to process alphanumeric data quickly and accurately.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior date entry and computer experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others (verbally and in writing).
  • Work will be performed at 4imprint, Oshkosh.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with quality control preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Effectively interpret work orders and job aids to ensure accurate execution of job responsibilities.
  • Ensure all machines have enough non-embroidered product to avoid delays.
  • Use RF scanners to manage and ensure inventory accuracy and track orders.
  • Pull orders from the staging area to put by the machines.
  • Track down orders which may need updating.
  • Perform entire book out and shipping process for the Embroidery Department.
  • Following UPS and Federal Express shipping processes.
  • Accurately update shipping methods when required to meet event date.
  • Ability to physically handle large volumes of packages in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure packages are correctly entered into the shipping system.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.
