About The Position
The Material Handler moves and stores various materials within the warehouse. Main duties include safely loading and unloading items to/from trucks, shelving and bays; recording inventory statuses and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education or GED equivalent
- Prior material handling experience
- Ability to stand for majority of shift
- Great organization and attention to detail
- Proficient with RF guns (product scan and transfer from FG to locations), reach truck and forklift certified
- Knowledge of ERP system and inventory tracking
- Basic computer skills
- Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably, and actively seeking feedback non-defensively
- Dealing directly and forthrightly with people and problems, persisting to get the job done, and managing personal responses and stress
- Following through on commitments, producing timely work to required – or higher - standards, and pitching in to get the job done.
- Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.

Responsibilities
- Able to be certified in operation of appropriate material handling equipment, e.g., reach truck and forklift
- Operate material handling equipment safely at all times
- Move product between production areas and warehouse or freight
- Gather dimensions and weights for freight shipments
- Pick orders using RF gun
- Load trailers
- Lookup inventory in Acumatica as needed
- Gather product from all FG (finished goods) areas and transfer to the proper location
- Create intercompany transfer orders
- Check physical inventory against system inventory for items being transferred
- Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by regularly inspecting and reporting any problems to maintenance/safety
- Verify product transfers through Acumatica scan transfer module
- Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to Operations Manager or Team Lead as needed.
- May pick-pack and train pick-pack employees
- Other tasks as assigned
