The company has approximately 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations. Ferguson is seeking a Shipping Manager to join their Coral Springs, FL Branch team. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager, involves direct oversight of 5-7 associates, and operates Monday - Friday with a start time of 8:00 am until work is completed, requiring flexibility. The role also includes overseeing international/export shipping documentation and coordinating with associates to ensure compliance and timely delivery of international shipments.

Requirements

  • A strong background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required
  • 2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
  • Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems/Highjump
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Applications required
  • A strong attention to detail, leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines
  • Phenomenal communication skills and the ability and desire to manage a team

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is preferred
  • A Material Handling Equipment Certification is also recommended

Responsibilities

  • Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly
  • Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all of its associates
  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
  • Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily
  • Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management
  • Responsible for assisting warehouse associates with picking process
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
  • Skilled in handling export documentation for transporting goods internationally with carrier coordination, and customer communication to ensure compliant and on‑time deliveries
  • Ability to coordinate export shipments from the warehouse and serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, documentation, and delivery
