About The Position

This role is for a 2nd Shift Glass Production Load/Unload Associate in the Loading Department. The position is not open for submission from outside staffing agencies. The total compensation pay range is $16-$18 per hour with a $2 per hour shift premium. There are quarterly safety bonus opportunities and employee referral bonus opportunities. The shift days are Monday-Friday with a start time of 6pm. Benefits start on DAY ONE!

Requirements

ABLE to read a tape measure accurately-REQUIRED
ABILITY to lift 75lbs independently, 150 in tandem.
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to communicate and work in a team setting
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (heat, cold, humidity)
Basic math and computer skills
Committed to Safety work practices

Nice To Haves

Forklift and Crane experience a plus
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Glass experience, a plus

Responsibilities

Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production process
Read, understand, and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
Quality inspection of glass, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
Daily inspections - safety and equipment
Follow all safety policies and processes.
Understand layout of plant to ensure proper product flow
Perform different job functions and/or assist other departments when needed
Organize and clean area
