About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company that delivers grocery and household goods through a global supply chain network. The Shipping Loader is responsible for completing assigned loading tasks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery times. The role involves loading products according to pallet load diagrams or reports generated by the Warehouse Management System (WMS), coordinating with Transportation to ensure products are loaded onto the correct trailer and secured, and working with the Warehouse Supervisor to address potential gross load weight issues promptly.

This position is based at 4228 South 72nd Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68127. Pay is $22.50 per hour. The schedule is five days per week, from 12 p.m. until finish. The role operates with a moderate degree of supervision, involves routine work, requires some skills developed through training or work experience, and affects the work of the team. Relevant experience is preferred. A high school diploma is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with assistance as needed.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned.
• Ability to work assigned shifts of 8–10 hours.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent sitting, walking, standing, handling and grasping objects, operating foot controls, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with possible exposure to temperature and humidity changes and moderate-to-high noise levels.
