About The Position

The Material Handling Shipping Lead will oversee the shipping area and keep overall productivity moving. This role involves training new hires, assisting with bid trainees and cross-training. The Lead will also provide support during periods of absenteeism, fill in for personal breaks and emergencies, and offer guidance when a supervisor is not present. Effective communication, including verbal, written, and reading skills, is essential. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Requirements

Knowledge to perform at least two jobs in the department.
Dependable, works well with others, self-motivated.
Willing to come in early and stay late when necessary.
Less than 5 attendance points at the time of posting.
Good safety record (NO Safety suspensions) within the last 12 months.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Verbal, written, and reading communication skills.
