About The Position

Pro Coffee Gear is a fast-growing ecommerce and wholesale distributor of commercial and home espresso equipment, serving cafés, roasters, restaurants, and home baristas. The Shipping Lead owns outbound fulfillment at the Austin warehouse, keeping orders moving accurately and on time from picking and packing through carrier handoff, and setting standards for shipping espresso machines and other equipment. The role oversees daily outbound operations, carrier coordination, packing standards, and shipping procedures. It also supports returns processing, inventory accuracy, shipment documentation, and coordination with customer service.

Requirements

At least 2 years of warehouse or fulfillment experience.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and shipping software.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Own the daily outbound schedule to ensure orders ship on time.
Manage carrier pickups and freight bookings.
Set and maintain packing standards for espresso machines and fragile equipment.
Train warehouse teammates on shipping procedures.
Execute daily pick, pack, and ship operations accurately and efficiently to meet delivery commitments.
Coordinate carrier pickup scheduling, tracking, and delivery optimization.
Process orders using warehouse management systems and maintain shipment documentation.
Manage receiving, put-away, and stock organization of returns to optimize warehouse flow.
Investigate inventory variances on out-of-stock orders.
Assist with inventory projects as needed.
Ensure outbound shipments meet quality standards and packaging requirements.
Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies or process bottlenecks.
Process returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies.
Coordinate with customer service on order status and shipping inquiries.
