About The Position

AerSale is a global aviation products and services company providing aftermarket support for passenger, cargo, and government aviation segments. The Shipping Inspector inspects materials and documentation, prepares outgoing shipments to meet AerSale quality requirements, and supports shipping, receiving, inventory, and returned-material processes. The role uses a forklift as needed, handles ESD-sensitive materials according to requirements, processes shipments through carrier software, and enters and verifies information in the Pentagon database. The position reports to the Quality & Warehouse Operations Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Experience in receiving and/or shipping material.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Efficiency and a desire to succeed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the aviation parts business.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify material and related documentation against purchase orders, sales orders, or contract specifications, and highlight nonconformances or omissions.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are adequately packaged and preserved and meet AerSale quality requirements.
• Operate a forklift as required to retrieve sold material from storage racks or store material for future sale.
• Comply with electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements when shipping or receiving ESD material.
• Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data in the Pentagon database.
• Process customer-returned material (RMA) for nonconformances and notify inside sales personnel.
• Process pick tickets for pending sales orders and note any discrepancies.
• Process shipments online using FedEx and UPS tracking software.
• Arrange and coordinate company freight shipments to and from Roswell, including incoming freight returned from repair vendors.
• Issue AerSale material certifications as required.
