About The Position

This role involves assisting with the staging and preparation of products for shipment, moving materials and finished goods within the department, and supporting loading activities. The position requires performing basic scanning and verification tasks, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with restaging, sorting, and inventory accuracy. The Shipping I team member will follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership. Responsibilities include bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, and general material handling. The goal is to learn MITER Brands shipping processes with the aim of developing towards Shipping II responsibilities.

Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse
• Repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and participate in team lifts as needed
• Bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting
• Safe handling of glass, frames, and finished goods
• Ability to use basic scanning equipment and perform simple computer tasks
• Standing for extended periods during a 10–12 hour shift
• Fine motor skills for handling tools, scanning, and documentation
• Visual inspection capability to identify product quality issues
• Walking on concrete floors throughout the shift
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions (temperature changes, noise, dust)
• Sustaining a consistent work pace throughout shift
• Strong attention to detail in staging and verification tasks
• Candidates must provide truthful and complete information regarding their eligibility to work in the U.S. and any current or future need for employment sponsorship.

Responsibilities
