Shipping Forklift Driver 2nd Shift
About The Position
Pratt Industries is hiring a full-time, year-round Shipping Forklift Driver for its second shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift Operators load trucks with the company’s boxes so customers receive the products they need. The starting pay is $19.25 per hour. The role requires sit-down forklift experience and a strong desire to learn and grow. Work includes physical tasks such as standing, walking, handling materials, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting. The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, occasional exposure to wet, hot, or humid conditions, and usually loud noise.
Requirements
- Sit-down forklift experience.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to apply concepts of high school mathematics.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or graphic instructions using common-sense reasoning.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including standing, walking, handling, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
