About The Position

Wieland is hiring a Shipping Dock Expeditor. The Shipping Dock Expeditor will be responsible for coordinating the efficient flow of trucks and materials through shipping and receiving dock while ensuring accurate shipment documentation and ERP system entry. This role is located in Buffalo, NY and will be fully on-site. Base Hourly Range: $25-$30/hour. May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic computer and ERP system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• 2-5 years’ experience

Responsibilities

• Open and close shipping doors.
• Direct truck drivers to the appropriate loading/unloading areas.
• Receive, scan, and tag incoming materials.
• Enter shipment and material information into the ERP system.
• Verify shipments, quantities, and documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse and shipping/receiving personnel.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
