About The Position

Responsible for Performing Lockout/Tagout functions (per specified procedures) for all loading docks. Operate dock leveler assemblies as necessary. Inspect/clean out trailers as necessary. Assist in other shipping activities as directed by the Shipping Supervisor. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to learn manufacturing principles and practices.
Performing basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure.
Lifting and loading materials.
Complying with safety and operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
Exemplary safety performance
Good performance/work history
Excellent attendance record
Excellent organizational skills
Workplace orderliness, housekeeping
Must be able to successfully pass a physical, drug screen and background check.
