About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our team located in Mounds View, Minnesota! This role offers the opportunity to think strategically, apply a wide range of skills, and work independently. The position is a day shift role, Monday through Thursday, with a half day on Friday, and no weekends. The starting hourly rate is $21.55 to $27.74, depending on experience, with the possibility of up to a $1 pay increase after 90 days. Requirements

Moderate computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
High school education or equivalent.
At least 3 years of related warehouse and inventory experience.
At least 6 months of forklift experience; ability to pass OSHA required practical and written exams.
Strong organizational skills, with emphasis to details.

Responsibilities

Operates all forklifts to properly load, transport and unload stock, parts, and materials.
Manages changing priorities and stays focused after an interruption such as a delivery.
Maintains accurate and complete records of all materials shipped out from and being received by the facility.
Monitors scheduling board to determine when trucks will arrive.
Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.
Follows safety rules and procedures.
