About The Position

This position is responsible for administratively coordinating the daily activities of the department in accordance with the Daily Pick List Release through communication with Customer Service, Customers & Transport Suppliers. Process and maintain all shipping related documentation. Perform analysis of daily activities & various other projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Forklift Certificate
  • Master the operation of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack)
  • Two years in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Two years in the Shipping Environment.
  • Cycle counting experience
  • Data analysis experience
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be focused on ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Strong time management
  • Detail oriented
  • Work Independently
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to assist with root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Must be mature, rational, level-headed and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

  • Document daily pick activities.
  • Delegate pick to order pickers.
  • Process and create bills of landing, and other shipping documents as needed via SAP.
  • Contact transport suppliers and arrange for pick-ups.
  • Communicate with Customer Relations and Customers regarding delivery status.
  • Maintain accurate and organized shipping documents.
  • Maintain various Shipping activity logs included but not limited to Customer delivery activity log, Safety Meeting log, Shipping activity log, and Transport Carrier Contact list.
  • Work on the resolution of paperwork problems.
  • Coordinate the re-labelling of reallocated inventory.
  • Master operation of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack).
  • Support the external warehouse.
  • Assess and resolve issues pertaining to the warehouse (i.e. issues with scanned material) to progress into another level.
