About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for organizing the finished product, loading trucks, and transferring materials to and from machining centers. As well, to lead and effectively utilize all assigned resources to complete the delivery of products in a manner to meet manufacturing requirements and delivery schedules. You will also be required to work in production as needed.

Requirements

High School or equivalent education
Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel and Teams
Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration in a fast-paced environment
Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality

Nice To Haves

6 months+ of manufacturing experience
6 months+ of shipping experience
Microsoft office and ERP knowledge

Responsibilities

Organize the finished product
Load trucks
Transfer materials to and from machining centers
Lead and effectively utilize all assigned resources to complete the delivery of products in a manner to meet manufacturing requirements and delivery schedules
Work in production as needed
Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines
Communicate with other Quanex locations regarding shipments, full trucks, and logistics team
Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly complete all documentation related to the position
Communicate late or non-shipments to Customer Service and Sales
Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers
