The Shipping Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for following directions provided through training and paperwork. The shipping coordinator requires good time management skills and the ability to work with limited supervision. In the event of this person’s absence, the job responsibilities fall to his/her fellow associates and/or the Warehouse Supervisor. Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Schedule: Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend, if needed) Location: Walton, KY Travel Requirements: None Work Environment: Office

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow procedures
Flexible work schedule and the ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Dependable
Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) proficiently and accurately.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with any WMS system (DAX)

Responsibilities

Communication with guard on carriers picking up outbound shipments.
Verify pickup confirmation numbers to make sure carrier is valid.
Maintain files of shipping records
Trace missing or lost shipment paperwork when needed
Authenticate receipt of shipments alongside bills of lading, invoices or other records.
Note any discrepancies on orders for future information.
Route products to departments
Insert merchandise into containers
Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers
Organize records of goods shipped
Follow all GMP rules.
Other duties as assigned.
