About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Oversee the packing and labeling of shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate with various carriers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate terms when necessary.
  • Process and track shipping orders using shipping software and ERP systems.
  • Verify shipment details and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and resolve shipping and delivery issues promptly.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to address and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to shipping and delivery.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their shipments.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline shipping processes.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
