About The Position
Shipping is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, a Shipping Coordinator is responsible for preparing orders for shipment and assisting with picking orders as needed. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in shipping.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 months manufacturing experience required.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Physical ability to do repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to obtain lift truck certification.
Nice To Haves
- Six months shipping experience preferred.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail in working from shipping orders, parts, etc.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the staging process utilizing RF process and performing variance checks.
- Utilize the Package Level Detail system to verify items and quantities against orders.
- Perform packing tasks assigned by Supervisor, i.e. repack main LTL packaging, rod packing and SDQ processing.
- Read orders for packing information, special instructions and pack accordingly.
