About The Position

Jacques Marie Mage is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our Operations team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of our outbound and inbound logistics — ensuring shipments move accurately, efficiently, and on time across domestic and international channels. You will work closely with our warehouse, inventory, and operations teams, as well as our carrier and freight forwarder partners, to keep our supply chain running at the standard JMM demands.

This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and understands that in luxury goods, the details are everything. This role is based out of our Los Angeles warehouse

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination, including both domestic and international shipments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Working knowledge of routing guides, EDI, ASN, and invoice processing requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite; experience with SnapFulfil, NetSuite, UPS WorldShip, or FedEx Ship Manager is a strong plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage high shipment volumes accurately while meeting tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and communicating with cross-functional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process outbound shipments across multiple carriers including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.
• Execute accurate shipping transactions through our WMS (SnapFulfil), ensuring all data is entered correctly and on time.
• Prepare, verify, and organize all shipping documentation including packing lists, commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Process EDI transactions and ASN submissions in compliance with customer and retailer routing requirements.
• Verify order information and customer account data prior to shipment processing.
• Provide accurate and timely order status updates to internal teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Operations.
• Flag and escalate any discrepancies between orders, packing lists, and physical shipments before they leave the warehouse.
• Ensure all outbound packaging meets JMM packing standards, including correct box marking, label placement, and carton quality.
• Support compliance with international shipping regulations, including CITES certificates for applicable materials (e.g., ostrich, eel).
