About The Position

Byrne Electrical Specialists is seeking a motivated individual to join the shipping team to help with every day shipping needs. This role requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, a commitment to excellent attendance, and the willingness to work extended hours as needed. The ideal candidate will be certified and experienced in operating Hi-LO (forklift) equipment safely and efficiently.

Regularly required to talk or listen, stand, bend, squat, walk, sit, stoop, crawl and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
Prolonged sitting, typing and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Arrange for the timely and accurate shipment of all customer orders.
Process packages for shipping, ensuring order is complete and all necessary paperwork and labeling is attached.
Arrange product on skids per customer requirements and prepare for shipment.
Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments (examples include Bills of Lading, Customs Paperwork, and Packing Slips).
Contact carriers to schedule outbound shipments.
Gather completed production from the lines and bring to Shipping to assemble and ship order.
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by quickly transitioning between roles in a fast-paced environment.
Maintains excellent attendance to support consistent team performance and operational success.
Willing to work extended hours as needed to support production demands.
Certified and experienced in operating Hi-LO (forklift) equipment safely and efficiently.
All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
