Requirements

  • High school diploma/ GED.
  • Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
  • Citizen of the United States, or Permanent Resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C 1344b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods and packaging incoming product.
  • Coordinating and scheduling all outbound loads and coordinating with sales and production.
  • Verifying shipping documents and recording any discrepancies.
  • Setting up all loads to be shipped common carrier with outside freight companies.
  • Coordinating routing of orders, and dispatching carrier with orders and appropriate delivery instructions consistent with customer receiving times.
  • Maintaining proper documentation and records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Assisting loading and unloading material from trucks or carts.
  • Packing, weighing, and labeling completed items.
  • Inspecting and packing product according to customer specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean work area.
  • Preparing various reports and correspondence as required.
  • Performing other duties as required.
